Air Pollution Control Residues

A customer who produces 200 tonnes per week of Air Pollution Control residues (APCr) was looking to appoint a primary waste recycling contractor, as they were keen to avoid their lime-based APCr being disposed of at landfill.

They appointed Castle Environmental due to our reputation for reliability and environmental capabilities. The collections use articulated powder tankers, with the APCr being delivered to our Cardiff and Stoke-on-Trent treatment facilities. The APCr is treated through our unique processes that provides our customer with a recycling solution for this high-volume waste.

The customer continues to use Castle Environmental as their primary contractor as we are able to reliably and cost-effectively deliver on their recycling requirements.
